About this item These are just the pieces you need if you want to use your plastic welder to mend something and make it water tight. It comes with 3 sheets of strong, finely woven wire mesh each measuring about 6” x 8” in area. There are 20 thin plastic rods each measuring about 9”. Easy to use – just heat the underlying plastic enough so that the cut piece of mesh is held temporarily in place before applying more heat to melt it through. Then take the plastic rods to melt on top of the mesh to fully cover the section. I would definitely recommend getting these of you bought a plastic welder. 304 stainless steel material – very stiff, very sturdy and not rusty. Caution – be careful with sharp edges. Please wear gloves when unpacking to avoid scratching your hands
