LIGHT IT! by Fulcrum, 30015-303 9-LED Anywhere Light XB, Black, Single Pack

If I could have given a 3.5 out of 5 stars I would have. I will start off by saying that I purchased them to use for under-cabinet lighting for a desk we just had made. We have overhead cabinets roughly 18.5 inches above the desk. I had thought I might only need one puck to light up the desk area (which is about 4 feet wide) after reading review about the wide swath of light these pucks provided, however it turned out that the puck was too close to the desk and didn’t actually light up as much of the desk as I anticipated. I was planning to use two lights, but ended up putting them in my garage to light up my work bench. The other thing that we didn’t love about the lights was the ‘cool’ bluish light it emits. I may have missed the description, but we prefer a ‘softer’ white light.When I moved the pucks to my garage, I love them. I don’t care about the ‘cool’ light out there and the top of my work bench is probably about 5 feet above the actual working area, which allows at least a full 5 foot section of my bench to be illuminated, which is perfect. For this purpose, the lights were well worth the purchase price of under $20.I personally don’t think they would be great for use in your kitchen as under-cabinet lighting as they don’t light up enough of an area. I purchased two 24 inch Commercial Electric lights from Home Depot for about $50 a piece. They are dimmable, but need either to be plugged in to an outlet which is an eye sore, or tapped into an existing outlet (or attached to a new circuit in your circuit breaker). Obviously this is not something every home owner can do.Overall I do like these lights, but not for under-cabinet lighting.
