I bought two of these small crank am/fm/weather radios for my nieces this past Christmas (2020). I thought I would buy one myself to see if they are worth the $14 dollars (Prime cost), or just another cheap toy. I am definitely exciting for them! This little radio has great sound for such a small inexpensive unit! The tuner brings in the signals pretty strong (I am hearing a popular AM radio Los Angeles News channel up here in the San Francisco Bay Area!). Hearing the two NOAA Channels is also coming in strong. As a Ham Radio Operator, I know good and so-so radios; This is a great small handheld radio to put into a backpack for music while hiking, camping, or emergency News and Weather information. The 3-LED Flashlight is bright. This radio is gonna be part of my Emergency Go-Kit (We have lots of earthquakes, fires, and other natural anomolies requiring evacuations these days). I might have to buy a couple more for other family members. I haven’t seen how long the battery lasts between full-charges yet, but with a built-in solar-panel, crank-charging, and USB charging, it should meet most portable entertainment and emergency needs.
