Description For your consideration we have a Pisgah Possum 12″ Standard Scale Openback Banjo with original Gigbag, Walnut. This banjo is in excellent condition. This banjo has a great voice for mountain music. Built in the mountains from all native and sustainable Appalachian hardwoods, including a persimmon tone ring, it has an authentic old time sound. Plunky and warm with good volume.   Handcrafted in Asheville NC, it is rare to see these hit the used market, these are “lifer” banjos, as good as it gets, world class and heirloom quality . . . this one has barely been played.
