Description Epiphone Zenith Carved-Top Archtop Guitar 1950 – Sunburst This guitar plays and sounds like a million dollar instrument, but it doesn’t cost that much. This is a 1950 Epiphone Zenith archtop guitar that has had some minor repairs. First off, the original pickguard has been replaced with a custom made wooden pickguard. It looks like the original brackets and screws were used to mount the pickguard. The tuners have also been changed to Grover’s. Structurally, the guitar is in great shape. The guitar does not show any cracks or repaired cracks, other than the heavy glue used to reglue the binding. The neck is in good shape, and the truss rod functions properly. Frets are a bit worn, but every note plays. Sorry, no case included. Made in NY New York U.S.A.
